Why I love my husband...

Because he gets me roses for NO reason at all! I am definitely spoiled!

Also... I've figured out what I'm doing for Koston's bedding!!! (I think this is the first time i've announced his name on the blog :)) It will be slightly different though. Instead of the blue with brown polka dots, I found a really cute sage/olive green fabric with brown polka dots. The rest is exactly the same :) Well, besides the crib, we have yet to figure that out! I'm attempting to make the bedding my self, so cross your fingers for me that it'll turn out! My wonderful mother is going to help me of course. There's NO WAY I could do it myself, haha. Here's what it will look like!... Kind of....

Yeah... paisley right... kind of girly? Well i like it anyway! :) Here's the green fabric that I'll be using...

I got my inspiration from here. I figured I better credit them. I love all of their stuff!
Hopefully all the fabric will be here next week so i can start on it by the weekend! Time's a flyin' now! I can't believe it :)

8 weeks!

What we've been up to Part 2

For Gary's B- day my mom booked about 7 rooms at a resort in Las Vegas and invited Gary's kids and my siblings to stay at for a week. The resort was really nice, equipped with about 3 or 4 pools, including a lazy river, and much more.

The resort was literally just a few minutes away from the strip so whoever wanted to venture that way had easy access. Brian and i had our own room which was super nice, although we did have a couple problems, aka a leak from the ceiling, But i guess the employees there were in no rush to fix it because they never showed up the entire weekend we were there!

One of Brian's fav. mission companions had been at lake Powell the previous week and wanted to meet up with Brian before he left on a study abroad trip to Spain, so he drove down to Vegas and stayed with us a couple nights. Al, yes that's his name :), was an instant hit with the fam. We all enjoyed his company and were really glad he got to come visit... especially Brian. I mean, we are naming our son after him.... so he ought to be pretty cool :)

{Cheyenne, Tacye (the mexican)... she get's so tan! and Tanesha}

We all hopped in a shuttle and went down to the strip. Brian heard of this "Miracle mile mall" so we wanted to go check it out.

P.S. the strip is CRAZY!

{Al and Brian}

{More pretty nieces}

{This picture kinda makes me laugh..... Happy B - day Gary!}

* Now that "So you think you can dance" is over, i've shifted my interest to....

Chubby Love

Haha this show is great.
I swear i used to never watch T.V. But since we've gotten DVR, I've been hooked on my shows!

* The song, "My life would suck without you" has been the theme of my weekend. Brian flew up Thursday to Oregon and won't be back till Wednesday night :( I miss him. It sucks. haha.

* Also... in my attempts of being "artsy" and decorating on a budget, this is what I've made.

Project #1
Free ninety nine baby.

I have at least 10 or more frames from when we got married so i've been trying to put them to good use. I went here -----> http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/, printed out 3 pics that i liked, typed up some letters on word, glued them to the pictures, then used a little bit of this

(Which i love)

and whala! haha it was a pretty simple project, but i was happy with it.

Project #3

I've found so many yummy recipes that i've wanted to keep or try out and wanted something fun to put them in. Haha. I feel like little miss home maker over here... I guess I've just had a lot of time on my hands!

*Anyway, life's good... we're good... the baby's good.... only 11 more weeks! Can you believe it?! I sure can't! But boy am I excited for this little guy to come! We really haven't done anything to prepare for him, so i guess those 11 weeks are a good thing right now. We really need to get on it! Hope everyone has a good week! :) Peace out.
